Jacque Maribe, Citizen TV’s news anchor and reporter found herself in the midst of a probe into the murder of Monica Nyawera Kimani who was found murdered and her throat slit at her residence house in Kilimani.
A prime Suspect by the name Joseph Irungu alias Joe Jowie who was arrested and charged with the murder of Monica happens to be Jacque Maribe’s fiance.
On Thursday detectives from Kilimani police station interrogated Maribe about the incident that had her car used by the suspect who was later driven to hospital by Jacque in the same car on claims that he was shot.
Kenyans on Twitter have erupted a debate on how Jacque came to know Jowie.
It is believed that the duo met at a club where they fell for each other, and within a period of two months Jowie proposed to Maribe in an event they streamed live on Instagram.
