Migori Governor Okoth Obado’s PA Michael Oyamo was today arraigned in court and he took plea as he denied killing Sharon Otieno. Oyamo was the first suspect to be arrested in connection with the murder of the Rongo University student. He was detained for 14 days after the prosecution sought more time to conclude investigations into the murder.
The court ruled that Oyamo be remanded until October 8, 2018 for his bail application to be heard and to allow further investigation into the murder of Rongo University student Sharon Otieno.
Oyamo is accused for playing a key role in the planning and eventual execution of the deceased and her unborn child. He will be remanded at Industrial Area Remand Prison pending bail hearing on 8/10/2018
