Lawyer Dr Miguna Miguna has fired back at President Uhuru Kenyatta’s deal that was met on Monday 24th September 2018 between Kenya and US.
The met deal between Kenyan Airways and New York will see Kenya making direct flights from Nairobi JKIA to New York.
The President made the communication public through his official twitter account, a tweet that was received with different reactions from Kenyans.
Miguna Miguna now says that the president is after making money go into his own pockets.
Miguna who termed the president as “Mr Despot” says Kenya Airways is a public-private partnership. The Government of Kenya owns 48.9%.
He further cites that KQ Lenders Company 2017 Ltd is an entity owned by a consortium of banks.
Really, Mr. Despot? @KenyaAirways is a public-private partnership. The Government of Kenya owns 48.9%. KQ Lenders Company 2017 Ltd., owned by a consortium of banks, including @UKenyatta‘s CBK, followed by KLM, which has a 7.8% stake in the company. Money in @UKenyatta‘s pocket! https://t.co/2pdTVdx1Db
