Joe Irungu was today arrested and questioned at the Kilimani police station over the killing of 29-year-old Monica Kimani.
Joe Irungu was positively identified by witnesses.
Reports available on different platforms quote Police indicating that the man is nursing a gunshot wound after shooting himself in the shoulder. The suspect in question was held after he went to a hospital on Tuesday to be treated for a gunshot wound.
He is alleged to have admitted himself to hospital after the shooting incident.
The two were in constant communication the night of the incident.
