Migori Governor Okoth Obado has denied the murder of his pregnant girlfriend Sharon Otieno in Homa Bay.Mr Obado denied the charge when he appeared before the High Court in Milimani, Nairobi, on Monday morning.
He was sent to the prison after his lawyers lost a bid to have him detained at the Gigiri Police Station. The governor will be held pending hearing of his bond request, which will be argued on Tuesday at 2pm.
Migori Governor Okoth Obado shared cells with a suspect in the shooting of former Garissa County Finance Executive Idris Muktar, five Kenya Revenue Authority officials and those from the Kenya Ports Authority who were arrested on Friday.
And just like any other detainee, the governor was not accorded any special treatment at the Gigiri Police Station cells. The governor’s currenr state has led to Kenyans calling for his resignation.

Surprised…
I'm surprised he is still being referred to as Governor Obado and a murder at the end of the sentence.
Only in Kenya!!

Undeserving…
Just wondering why you keep referring Okoth Obado as Governor Obado. He doesn't deserve that title! He is a killer together with his bodyguard "John Chacha", Michael Oyamo, Obiero.

Must be impeached..
Migori people deserve better, investigations put Governor Obado at the middle of the gruesome murder of Sharon Otieno.
The killers and conspirators were all his personal aides & DPP has established he wasn’t happy with her pregnancy. Obado must be impeached.

Must resign..
Governor Obado must resign if we are still a constitutional order.

Impeached immediately..
If this governor is not impeached ASAP or resigned then this is a serious ASSAULT on the constitution and the Republic is in grave danger. It is my job to tell you fellow countrymen. "Governor Obado"
