Chelsea has been delayed from returning home after their Europa League tie in Greece after their scheduled flight back to London was cancelled.
The Blues were due to fly back on Thursday night but poor weather forced them to delay their return until Friday morning. This means that the team is set to arrive back in London on Friday afternoon, 48 hours before a London derby at West Ham.
Pedro is a doubt for that game after suffering a shoulder injury towards the end of the 1-0 win at PAOK Salonika.
Head coach Maurizio Sarri said: “I don’t know exactly the situation. I have spoken with the doctor, but only for a few seconds. The doctor told me that probably it’s not a very serious injury.”
Willian’s seventh-minute strike was the difference for the Blues, who have five wins from five Premier League games, but Pedro and Alvaro Morata spurned numerous opportunities to add to the lead.
