Another Chinese Nationals Deported, Accused of Prostitution

Kenya’s Immigration Department says its officers have arrested 15 Chinese nationals, including underage girls who have been allegedly engaging in prostitution in Nairobi.

The suspects, who were allegedly found in a brothel, in South C estate were taken to Jomo Kenyatta Airport for processing and subsequent deportation.

Their arrest comes months after Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i declared war on illegal immigrants and foreigners doing jobs that should be done by Kenyans.

Two weeks ago, Kenyan police raided the African headquarters of the China Global Television Network in Nairobi and briefly detaining several journalists.

Early this month another chinese teenager was deported after he was captured in a video abusing President Uhuru Kenyatta and Kenyan citizens.

The teenager who was calling the President a monkey was arrested after the video went viral and later taken to JKIA where he was deported.

The chinese government however denied any involvement with their citizens being involved in criminal acts in Kenya.

The Chinese embassy in Nairobi has complained over police swoops that have seen its nationals with legal documents hauled into police stations for verification.
