A man in Kitengela has been charged for stealing soda and meat worth Ksh.323 from Naivas Supermarket.

Sammy Muturi Gitau appeared before a Kajiado court on Monday accused of stealing 0.5kg of meat and a a bottle of Fanta soda.
His charge sheet, “Sammy Muturi Gitau on the 19th day of August 2018 at Kitengela Township in Isinya Division within Kajiado County stole a half kilogram of beef meat and a 500ml Fanta soda all valued Ksh.323 the property of Naivas Supermarket Kitengela.”
He pleaded guilty as Magistrate Susan Shitubi ordered substantive investigations to be conducted and a report presented before the court on October 1.
The accused will remain in custody until October pending hearing and determination of the case.
