AFC Leopards suffered a humiliating 3-1 loss at the hands of Kakamega Homeboyz in a Kenyan Premier League match played on Tuesday afternoon at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
Both teams came into the match on the back of weekend victories as Leopards beat Posta Rangers on Saturday while Kariobangi Sharks saw off Nakumatt FC at the Camp Toyoyo grounds on the same day. The match started off on a high note with both team showing attacking intent and it was Sharks who eventually broke the deadlock through a George Abege header in the 13th Minute.
AFC Leopards would however restore parity just five minutes later through Wyvonne Isuza who converted from the penalty spot.Half time found the scores level at 1-1. The second half was mre of the same attacking play witnessed in the first half and just 8 minutes after the restart, Sharks once again went ahead.

AFC looked out of sorts after that second goal and were duly punished when Sharks added a third to put the result beyond doubt in the 65th minute. A tired looking AFC leopards huffed and puffed in search of a goal to spark their jaded performance but Sharks comfortably saw out the game.
The result leaves AFC Leopards still at third on the log with 51 points while Kariobangi Sharks remain sixth with 46 points.
