Students of Multimedia University in Rongai were on Monday on a rampage protesting against alleged mismanagement of the institution.
The students during the protest mentioned an accommodation crisis among the reasons for their strike.

They are however demanding for the reduction of food prices in the university as they say graft in the institution has to end.

The students who began their protest inside the school compound before proceeding outside barricaded Magadi road causing a traffic jam on the road.
Reports further indicate that they were also engaged in clashes with area residents.
