Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has today raided Pumwani Hospital and made a shocking discovery of 12 dead infants hidden in boxes and nylon bags.
Sonko made the heart wrenching discovery after making an impromptu visit at the hospital in Nairobi after a tip off by members of the public.
They alleged that dead infants were being ferried to a store in boxes instead of the morgue. Others alleged that the management had switched off the machines at the maternity wing leading to the death of the babies.
The management found it hard to explain the death toll and how the bodies ended up in boxes in a store rather than in the morgue.
The discovery made for some interesting comments from Kenyans on Social Media.
For starters..
If your birth certificate is written "Pumwani Hospital" just ADD "Survivor" to your CV… Ask Mike Sonko

We could not agree more..
Pumwani Hospital is a disgrace to humanity. The same doctors we are supposed to trust them with our lives are doing shitty things behind patients back. Sonko huyo mjamaa ungepea slap.
