what next for Sharon Otieno’s family after Obado’s denial in murder Involvement

Sharon Otieno’s family is now appealing to President Uhuru Kenyatta to ensure justice for their daughter as they bury the body of their slain daughter’s unborn baby.

On Wednesday Migori Governor Okoth Obado denied involvement in Sharon’s murder during a press conference he held amid speculations about his relationship with Sharon from the residents.

The family says it lacked words to express their agony over their first born daughter’s death which leaves many question over her gruesome death.

They say they are still being haunted by what they witnessed during the post-mortem on their daughter at the Rachuonyo level four hospital last week.

“This is too much for us to bear. Why did they have to slaughter her like that? I want to know why Sharon was killed,” Sharon’s mother, Ms Melida Auma said.

Auma further noted that the family has been undergoing hardships since the demise of their daughter, citing that peace can only be with them if the matter is brought to rest and the killers charged.

She had hoped her daughter, a second year medical records and information student at Rongo University, would complete her course, join the health sector and help her siblings, the last of whom is a girl in Standard Five.

The father to the demised Mr Douglas Otieno who is soft spoken insists of justice for her daughter and the unborn baby.
