Bungoma County Governor Wycliffe Wafula Wangamati on Thursday met the county assembly members who on Wednesday were threatening to impeach him.
The rowdy MCAs took to Bungoma streets to stage protests against Wangamati whom they claimed ha failed on delivering as per his manifesto.
They threatened to impeach Wangamati the soonest to save the county from the looming situation the current government was subjecting.
After hours of discussions at the county assembly premises the two arms of the county came into an agreement of joining hands together for the general good of the county.
Sticking issues were ironed out and the two teams gave a press conference affirming a collaborative approach to issues affecting Bungoma.
