Kenyans have taken to twitter to air their anger after Governor Okoth Obado denied involvement in the murder of sharon Otieno.
Obado who on Tuesday was grilled by detectives for almost 7 hours has spoken saying that he has nothing to do with Sharon’s murder but instead asked the police to speed up investigations to bring the murderers on book.
The governor went ahead to ask Kenyans to stop speculations and give the police time to finish
Kenyans seem to be disappointed with Obado’s statement with some asking the reasons as to why he never denied his involvement since before even after being grilled by EACC detectives on Tuesday.
Why would he ask the police to speed up investigations after being ‘grilled’ by them for 7hrs+? Why didn’t he deny involvement right from the start of issues? Could he have scuttled everything to his gain; hence, the courage to talk over the matter now? #SharonOtieno

Why would he worry about the public’s speculation if he’s ‘clean’ on the murder? What does he know that the public doesn’t regarding this murder?
