Governor Odado gives his side of Sharon’s Murder

Migori Governor Okoth Obado was in an eight hour grilling season with the Directorate of Criminal Investigation on September 11th following his high links with the slain murderof Sharon Otieno.

According to his lawyers, Cliff Ombeta and Roger Sagana, told the media that the governor should not be associated with the crime at all.

In addition lawyer Ombeta said that his client had not been arrested and had been treated relatively well by the detectives.

Governor Obado further denied any link to the kidnapping and murder of Ms Otieno, indicating that he needed to keep his security detail in check following his association to the hideous crime.

He further told the investigators  that he had not been able to go to his office in Migori because of the poisoned environment.He also he had not planned to abduct or kill them either Sharon nor Barrack Oduor.

Governor Obado was accompanied by the County Communications Director Nicholas Anyuor and County Secretary Christopher Rusana and his lawyers who were with him throughout the questioning.

He has also rejected the association with the plot to murder and distanced himself from the alleged actions of his aide Micheal Oyamo who is currently at Milimani Law courts where he is been charged for the murder of Sharon.
