Nairobi County Assembly Speaker Beatrice Elachi has obtained conservatory orders blocking her removal from office pending the hearing and determination of her petition.
Elachi, following her impeachment on Thursday evening, filed a motion certified as urgent at the Employment and Labour Relations Court. Nairobi City County Public Service Board and the Nairobi City County Assembly were listed as respondents in the motion.
The matter has been a hot topic of discussion among most Kenyans who as always never shy away from giving their opinion on Social Media..
They shall not be swayed..
The only impeachment that has my full support right now is that of 16% VAT on fuel or that of the person who ordered it. The one of Beatrice Elachi is inconsequential.

Yes the court has reinstated you. How will Beatrice Elachi discharge her mandate when more than 70 per cent of MCAs are against her. I used to think she was wise but she's not. She should have thrown in the towel when the writing was still on the wall. Kizungu mingi bila kichwa.
