Deputy President William Ruto’s  campaign team is on the rocks.

The disagreement between veteran politicians and youthful campaign team has intensified internal rebellion that has seen some influential politicians pull out.

In the team, Ruto had shown confidence in South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro, youth leader Antony Kibagendi and North Mugirango’s Joash Nyamoko.

Others in Ruto’s good books include MPs Shadrack Mose, Jerusha Momanyi, Richard Tong’i and Richard Onyonka.

But the absence of seasoned politicians among them Joseph Kiangoi, Walter Nyambati, Jimmy  Angwenyi, Charles Nyachae has even made the situation worse.

According to an anonymous source, “There is total paralysis and that is why you’re seeing a standstill.”

In addition the source said,  “The experienced politicians feels sidelined and they have been leading the rebellion. The DP is aware but he’s yet to reconcile the two camps.”

Also missing from the team is Solicitor General Ken Ogeto and CS Fred Matiang’i, both who played a crucial role in Jubilee’s impressive score in Gusii.

However, nominated MCA George Mosiori claims that the differences are exaggerated adding that it’s only divergent of opinions.
