Chelsea keeper speaks on his price tag

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has revealed that he feels valued at the club but that his price does not result in any pressure for him.

The Blues opted to meet the Spaniard’s release clause in his Athletic Bilbao contract before the end of the transfer window, with the La Liga outfit receiving £71.6m for the stopper’s signature. However, Kepa has said that he feels valued by the Premier League giants and is comfortable playing in England due to the presence of a number of his fellow countrymen.

“The price is only that because the market is like that too. Higher and higher figures are being paid and I see it as a consequence of the market. I feel valued. In recent years many Spaniards have done important things. It is good there are so many of us in the Premier League,” the 23 year old told AS.
