Ghana troops for East Africa ahead of Harambee Stars clash

Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah and his backroom staff will depart the shores of Ghana for Ethiopia on Sunday ahead of the 2019 AFCON qualifier against Kenya.

Coach Appiah and his assistants Ibrahim Tanko and Maxwell Konadu, as well as technical coordinator of the team Stephen Appiah, are expected to leave for Addis Ababa on Sunday.

The Blackstars will play Kenya on September 8th in the Country’s Capital, Nairobi.

The Black Stars are currently group leaders following their 5-0 thrashing of Ethiopia in their first match in Kumasi last year.

Coach Kwesi Appiah dropped some usual faces from his squad including Captain Asamoah Gyan and the Ayew Brother’s.
