Bobi Wine’s wife Barbie Kyagulanyi shared a video on Facebook showing her husband being whisked away by security forces at Entebbe airport.
Bobi was abducted at the the airport where he was to travel to the UK to seek specialized treatment after being tortured by army officers.
Barbie said that the security forces manhandled the sickly MP before whisking him away to an unknown location via the airport’s departure section.
“Security forces just manhandled my husband and and whisked him away to an unknown destination from Entebbe airport. He groaned in pain as he called my name to save him from being taken by his tortures again. They forced him into an ambulance and drove out of the airport departures section.” Barbie posted on her official Facebook page.
The act has led to a heated Social Media motion that seeks to pressure the Ugandan authorities into ending the torture they are subjecting to the sickly former musician turned activist.
The Uganda Police have violently blocked Hon Bobi Wine from traveling outside of the country in spite of the court declining to do so when being released on bail earlier in the week. This is absurd to say the least. #FreeBobiWine

It is essential to emphasize that Bobi Wine was fully within his rights to travel for medical treatment. Again, he has done nothing wrong. Again, he has broken no law. And again, the police beat him and detained him and will later make up some sort of false excuse. #FreeBobiWine

This is just sad…
The moment @HEBobiwine was violently arrested. "Security forces just manhandled my husband… He groaned in pain as he called my name to save him from being taken by his torturers again. They forced him into an ambulance & drove out." – Barbie, Bobi's wife.#FreeBobiWine pic.twitter.com/0XHAMZnaoq
