Teenage boys often had posters plastered on their wall of their celebrity crushes, and it’s nice to know Prince Harry was no exception. The lad who is in line for the throne went gaga over Halle Berry, apparently, after a photo of his dorm room at Eton College resurfaced this week. And who is front and centre on a weird hippy rug hanging on his wall? Why, that would be actress Halle Berry in a bikini.
The photo has found its way back onto the internet where it belongs and Halle herself has stumbled upon it, as she took the chance to call the prince – who is married to former Suits actress Meghan Markle, now Duchess of Sussex – out on the now-33-year-old’s sweet homage.
Commenting on the photo on Twitter, the Monster’s Ball star said: ‘Ok #PrinceHarry, I see you!’ We bet he didn’t expect that.
She added the laughing emoji and #HalleBerryPosta, tagging @MissyElliott in regards to the famous line from her song Work It, in which she rapped: ‘Don’t I look like a Halle Berry poster?’ The teen was 18 at the time of the photoshoot, with other random teenage boy items spread around the place – including what appeared to be a bottle of every boy’s favourite fancy fragrance Lynx body spray, and a picture of his mother, the late Princess Diana.
The accompanying shoot was perhaps the best thing we’d ever been blessed with, as he was shot making toast, hanging out with a skeleton and just generally being a classic studying student at one of the most prestigious schools in the land. His dorm room insight comes after he attended a performance of Hamilton alongside the Duchess on Wednesday. The Duke of Sussex sang a Hamilton song about his ancestor King George III after he and Meghan Markle attended yesterday night’s show as guests of honour.
