Class, eloquence on full display as President Uhuru meets Trump

It was total display of elegance, eloquence and power as President Uhuru Kenyatta on Monday August 27 met US President Donald Trump at the White House in Washington DC and held talks on security and trade. Kenyan First Lady Margaret Kenyatta and her US counterpart, Melania Trump joined the two leaders in the historic talks.
President Uhuru Kenyatta arrived in Washington DC on Saturday afternoon for an official visit that saw him hold talks with US President Donald Trump.

The President, accompanied by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, touched down at Dulles International Airport at 4:00 pm Washington DC time 11:00 pm, Nairobi time on Saturday and was received by a team of senior US and Kenya government officials led by Kenya’s ambassador to the US Robinson Njeru Githae.

Kenyan First Lady Margaret Kenyatta and her US counterpart, Melania Trump joined the two leaders in the historic talks.

Kenya’s first lady Margaret Kenyatta’s eloquence and fantastic dress code was clear for all to see as the outdid her fellow counterpart Melania Trump on that aspect.

The meeting itself seemed to be a very friendly affair with pictures showing the two Presidents enjoy light moments from as far as the conference room.

The two head of states went left the conference room together and continued with their conversation down the hallway on their way to meeting the media.

A Live band was present to ease the tension out(If any was present).

After the historic meeting President Kenyatta invited more US investors to set shop in Kenya to benefit from the opportunities created by the Big Four development blueprint projects. The meeting came at an opportune time for Kenyatta who is looking for partners and funding for his Big Four Agenda and just two months before national carrier Kenya Airways begins direct flights to New York. The presidents discussed ways of strengthening the blossoming Kenya-US relations focusing on the two nations’ shared democratic values and mutual interests.
