AFC Leopards head coach, Rodolfo Zapata, accompanied by SportPesa staff then headed to the World Hope Centre in Kawangware where he in turn presented kits to another 20 teams from the area.
Kawangware is regarded as a Leopards stronghold and the streets confirmed it as the fans surrounded Zapata to take pictures and shake the Argentine’s hand.

Zapata, who was accompanied by his wife, was humbled by the sight and thanked them all before urging them to show up in large numbers and break the monotony of being outnumbered by Gor Mahia fans.
“Tomorrow’s match will not be an easy one and we need you more than ever to come and show your support to the team,” Zapata underlined.

In a great show of sportsmanship, the Argentine wished his rivals all the best even after the game tomorrow but maintained that they are coming into the fixture with the intention of getting all three points.
“I wish Gor Mahia the very best in the continental competition and the entire country will be behind them as they aim to fly the Kenyan flag even higher,” he concluded.
The match is scheduled to kick off tomorrow at 4pm at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani as AFC Leopards seek to stretch their winning run to six games and postpone the Gor party.
