Former Chelsea player: I don’t think Jose Mourinho is entirely to blame

Chelsea player Steve Sidwell claimed that Manchester United players need to take more responsibility for their defeat against Brighton.

Mourinho has been criticized for the loss of Manchester United away, but Sidwell does not believe that his former head coach needs to take all the responsibilities.

The 35-year-old midfielder played for Chelsea when Mourinho first coached. He knew the Portuguese’s request for his players.

Sidwell admitted that Mourinho was the last person to choose and make the lineup, but the players still have to be accused of their disappointing performance in the new season.

“There is no different tactical idea on the court. Everyone should unify their thoughts. Obviously Mourinho conveys his tactics to the players, draws on the tactic board, and then trains for the whole week.” He told the sky physical education.

“Then what the players need to do, they need to show the tactics. If they have different ideas about the tactics, they still need to do what they can to complete it.”

“They need to win the game, no matter what the way, this is their account for the fans.”

“Listen, the new season is just beginning two rounds. Their defeat was only magnified because of their city rivals Manchester City and Liverpool’s victory.”

“Manchester United will not be left behind, but the player needs to be able to stand up to the jersey, and the head coach needs to choose his lineup.”
