Argentina’s “Clarion” pointed out in the latest report that Messi will be very busy in the next few days.
The Argentine media revealed that in the next few days, the national team’s interim coach, Scaloni, will call Messi to ask if he will be available for the national team’s friendly matches in September. The Barcelona star’s answer will shed light on his planned future with the national side are there are rumour making the rounds that the forward is considering quitting international football.
”Clarion” pointed out that the the Argentine FA boss believes Messi may decide not to participate in the next round of friendly games, but he will surely honour national team engagement in the future. However, Scolani is hoping that Messi will consider joining the team in September. He knows that the presence of Messi is very important for the national team, especially as the Argentine team will undergo in-depth reforms.
Scaloni and Messi will have an in-depth discussion. The two had been teammates and participated in the 2006 World Cup together. In the 2018 World Cup in Russia, Messi and Scaloni were also in the team to the 2018 World Cup though the latter was an assistant coach at the time.
