Following a tweet on his twitter feed Ndii said, “ this is public land. One more friend you need to lose. And once you are done with him, turn yourself in.”

Ndii has come out to challenge President Uhuru Kenyatta, claiming that the Weston Hotel which is apparently  owned by DP Ruto is built on public land.

He also called on President Uhuru to not only loose the DP as a friend but also turn himself in.

The sentiments by Ndii come days after President Uhuru stated that he has lost friends over his stand on corruption.

“I have lost close friends over the war on corruption. We must be ready to lose friends and do what is right in the eyes of God.”

President Uhuru further  revealed that he has been receiving calls to stop the demolition of buildings on riparian land in Nairobi. However, President the head of state insisted that the demolitions will continue, a clear indication that his government is committed to end impunity and restore the rule of law.

“We must fight impunity not because we want to destroy for the sake of it. If we do not fight impunity, we will not achieve our goals. For the country to succeed we must fight corruption and impunity,” said President Uhuru.

Well Kenyans on twitter were not left behind they went ahead to give their sentiments following the economist’s tweet.

Here are some reactions.
