Nicki Minaj takes no prisoner on her new album Queen, calling out Drake for being all ‘in his feelings’. Taking aim on Barbie Dreams, Nicki uses her longtime relationship with Drake, which endured a tumultuous time during his fierce beef with Meek Mill, as ammunition on her new track.

The song which features on Nicki’s new LP, hears the star fire shots at nearly every single rapper including 50 Cent, and rumoured beau Eminem. But, Nicki has already pre-empted the hype and insisted that the track isn’t a ‘diss’, but that she’s chosen to target people that wouldn’t be too emotional about it. Drake, Eminem, 50 Cent, Meek Mill and DJ Khaled all feature on the track, and Nicki accuses a number of the rappers for trying to have sex with her.

Khaled – seemingly in reference to the recently unearthed comments that he wouldn’t go down on his wife. ‘Had to cancel DJ Khaled, boy, we ain’t speaking. Ain’t no fat n***a telling me what he ain’t eating,’ she raps. Desiigner, Young Thug, Kanye and Bow Wow also get a mention. ‘Drake worth a hundred milli, always buying me shit/But I don’t know if the pussy wet or if he cryin’ and shit’, before adding: ‘I tried to fuck 50 for a powerful hour, but all that n**** want to do is talk Power for hours’.

Nicki’s ex-fiance even gets a reference for trying to get back together with her, as she raps: ‘Meek still be in my DMs, I be having to dump him/‘I used to pray for times like this/Face ass when I fuck him’. Talking on her Apple Beats 1, Queen Radio show earlier this week, Nicki said: ‘You guys know that’s not a diss, right. I love them. I said things about people who can take a joke and not be emotional about it.’

But Nicki is happy with the reaction that her song has garnered after eviscerating the rappers. ‘Everyone is saying how disrespectful ‘Barbie Dreams’ is, and that’s why I fucking love it,’ she said, according to Rolling Stone.

Overnight the 35-year-old launched Queen Radio – her brand new radio station on which she will also be dropping her brand new album today. Aptly named Queen, the album has been much anticipated with plenty of teasers keeping fans eager for its release. So when is Queen going to drop? Nicki’s fourth studio album will drop today at 4pm

Nicki revealed the artwork for her new album in June, featuring themes of burlesque and Cleopatra for all kinds of regal hotness. The artwork – shot by famed fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott – sees Nicki sitting on a tree branch topless, with decadent nipple pasties glued on her chest.

The rest of Nicki’s outfit consisted off a golden belt and a beaded loincloth, a stunning beaded headpiece and an extravagant matching necklace. Throw in a flaming orange backdrop and ‘Queen’ written in gold, and you’ve got her most eyecatching artwork since she squatted in a thong for Ananconda.

Sharing the cover on Instagram, the Chun-Li rapper wrote: ‘#Queen 8|10|18 ???~ ? by the legendary #MertAndMarcus @mertalas ~ My greatest work to date. ‘Thank you for your patience & love. Pre-Order next week w|my 2nd single.’

While promising her ‘greatest work to date’ is risky business, fans were eating it up, calling her the ‘greatest female rapper alive’ and legit rap royalty. Queen was initially set for release in June, but was pushed back to August to allow for more promo time.
