‘Raila and Uhuru are Afraid of my Rising Popularity’

Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta and Nasa Leader Raila Odinga of being afraid of his rising popularity. Miguna said that, that is the reason why he was exiled. He alleged that initially, they had planned on murdering him.

In a stinging revelation on social media, Miguna revealed the issues that happened in the lead up to infamous January 30th swearing in of Raila as the people’s president.

He alleged that Raila was afraid of taking the oath and masterminded the media blackout to ensure the same did not happen.

After I had fearlessly defied Uhuru Kenyatta’s threats of treason charges that had sent all @CoalitionNASAKe lawyers urinating in their pants and administered the oath of office on Raila Odinga, my popularity hit the skies and scared Uhuru and Raila who devised the plan of exiling me.

Initially, an assassination squad of police officers was to abduct and murder me like they had killed Chris Msando and Lawyer Kimani. That plan fell through when I managed to quickly send out alerts to the media and NRMKe members after they broke into my house.

Once the media and NRMKe members had surrounded my house and prevented them from taking me away secretly, Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga met and came up with the idea of detaining me incommunicado and eventually forcing me into exile.

They intended to keep me away from Kenya as long as possible; (b) To claim falsely that I’m not a Kenyan so that I cannot vie for the presidency; (c) To dilute my popularity in my absence using falsehoods, propaganda, fake news, the media and their surrogates; (c) To limit my access to the media so that I cannot expose and deconstruct them.

No matter how hard or long the despots and their surrogates try to attack me using the compromised media, paid bloggers, professional charlatans, falsehoods, concoctions, stolen public money and both the NIS and foreign intelligence agencies, the #NRMKe and I won’t surrender.

Only 2 days after 8 innocent young men had been murdered by Uhuru Kenyatta’s Mungiki/Police as they escorted @RailaOdinga from the JKIA on his arrival from the USA, Raila Odinga travelled to Zanzibar purportedly on “holiday.” The martyrs hadn’t even been buried.

But the main purpose for Raila Odinga trip to Zanzibar was to hold secret negotiations with Uhuru Kenyatta. He used Jakoyo Midiwo, Hon. Junet Mohamed and Jimmy Wanjigi as “mules” in his tragic journey to betrayal.

Upon returning to Kenya from Zanzibar, Raila Odinga continued to pretend that he wanted to be sworn-in as the people’s president and called on his supporters to protest against @UKenyatta’s electoral theft. However, in secret, he was being paid by Uhuru Kenyatta.

The reason why Raila Odinga used cowards and many empty excuses to postpone his public swearing-in as the People’s President was due to the fact that unknown to most Kenyans, he had already been paid and he had surrendered. That’s why Oburu was sent to EALA by Jubilee Party.

It’s the millions of Kenyans, James Orengo and I who compelled Raila Odinga to take the oath of office as the People’s President. I had stated on NTV Kenya that I would swear him in whether he liked it or not because justice demanded no less. Now you know. Viva!

On January 30, 2018, Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta had agreed that there was going to be no public swearing-in at Uhuru Park. They had arranged to have me arrested at the Intercontinental Hotel at 10am so that I could not administer the oath on Raila Opany that day.

However, after I managed to prevent my arrest by marshalling 500 NRMKe youth to come to the Intercontinental Hotel and who accompanied me to Uhuru Park, Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta decided to switch off signals for 4 local TV stations so that Kenyans would not see the event live.

The strategy was also for Raila Odinga to use the TV switch off as an excuse for not attending the Uhuru Park swearing-in function. It’s true that he told Hon Musalia W Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetang’ula that he won’t go to Uhuru Park that day.

However, as Raila Odinga was hiding at the Sankara Hotel in Westlands with Jimmy Wanjigi and James Orengo, who was unable to persuade him to come to Uhuru Park, they saw me with a million people on CNN Al Jazeera English. Uhuru Park was charged.

When I spoke with Raila Odinga on the phone from Uhuru Park, he told me that he feared that if he attended the function and was sworn-in before 2pm as prescribed in the Constitution, then he would be charged with treason. I told him that he should take the oath before 2pm. Many Raila Odinga supporters from the Diaspora were extremely upset with the delay and kept me to complain about the 2pm constitutional cut-off time for presidential assumption of office oaths.Unfortunately, I could not force Raila Odinga to leave the Sankara Hotel and come to Uhuru Park before 2pm that day.

I told Raila Odinga that if Uhuru Kenyatta charged him and me with treason, then we would and should lead millions of people onto Nairobi streets so that we could remove Uhuru Kenyatta and William Samoei Ruto from power. But he refused and came after 3pm. The coward was trembling uncontrollably.

Uhuru Kenyatta did not order the Kenya Police to attack us at Uhuru Park, first, because he knew that Raila Odinga had already surrendered and taken Kshs. 50B from him; that Raila Odinga was only attending the event to appease his supporters; and that I would be arrested thereafter.

These are the reasons why Raila Odinga refused to read his written speech at Uhuru Park; spoke for only 3 minutes before dashing off to his Karen home; and left millions of his supporters dazed, confused and rudderless that day. He had betrayed Kenyans.

As the mammoth crowd started leaving, Uhuru Kenyatta’s heavily armed goons murdered three Raila Odinga supporters near Muthurwa Market as they made their way home. To date, Raila Odinga has not condemned Uhuru Kenyatta for killing those innocent Kenyans.
