A while ago Vera had been accused of using some kind of  withch craft lon Otile brown which the singer strongly denied saying,“Someone just texted. This hit me hard, though. She’s saying I am using juju on her. That ‘There is no way, Vee can love an average guy like me’.

“First of all, I am not an average dude. I am a true baller on my own level and I aspire to be bigger. Everybody starts from somewhere.

“Even if I become a real baller, I would never blow money on no ho*, unless she’s special. So the society got us all fucked up, to a point that a man can’t make a move towards a classy woman and win without blowing cash? Damn! And by the way, I love Vee – and God forbid – if we ever part ways, life has to go on, so don’t dwell on that. Till then, we lit.”

Vera recently launch of her executive beauty parlour,  which she named after her.

Vera Sidika Beauty Parlour is modelled after parlours in Beverly Hills. The parlour is located in Western Heights, Westlands.

She is also a talented interior design specialist and it took her effort to design her own parlor.

When asked about it Vera said, “I’m an interior designer…I designed [everything] from the scratch. I would spent nights there to ensure that I got the correct setup.

“There is everything in my beauty parlour, from pedicures to manicures. It’s more of beauty and glamour but for Veetox [weight-loss tea], it is all about healthy eating and staying fit. It is just different thing but same arena.”

She also clarified on her target market saying, “To be honest, this is a setup for the more [affluent] in society. It all came about from my travels. [When I visited] spas in New York [I] thought ‘this kind of beauty needs to be introduced in Kenya’. We have so many beauty shops in Kenya, but I feel they are still not there yet. I think this is just a way to make people experience New York in Kenya.”

“There are so many services that Kenyans have not experienced and therefore I’m gonna provide that in my salon. We gonna have champagne, pedicure, milk pedicure. I want people to feel very relaxed when they visit us, have bridal showers and that is why I chose a parlour and not a salon.”

Sidika said she had to rebrand and change her public image to realise her dream.
