K24 TV and Morning show host Ciru Muriuki has announced her exit at K24 where she used to host the K24 Alfajiri together with Jeff Mote and Serah Teshna.
Her departure comes barely a year after she quit NTV for K24 after a longtime hosting the Trend with Larry Madowo.
Ciru and Jeff Mote quit NTV in November 2017 to join K24. The two left NTV just after Trend’s former main host Larry Madowo called it quits.
The show was later taken over by celebrated radio and TV host Amina Abdi Rabar who doubles up as morning show radio host at Capital FM.
Amina took over the trend a month after Larry left to take up a political show dubbed sidebar which later led to his depature from Nation Media Group to BBC Africa.
Ciru too to her social media Instagram page and Twitter to break her exit from the Kijabe street media house saying, “I’m about to wrap up my final time co-hosting K24 Alfajiri. I am so honored to have worked on such a great show with such a great team! @iamjeffmoteand @serahteshna keep killing this morning TV game! I’m super excited about the next phase of my career. Dreams do come true. ????? #k24alfajiri “

Ciru began her career at Homeboyz Radio and later moved to Citizen’s Hot 96 FM and later Nation FM until she was sucked in 2015. She was a co-host at Nation TV with Larry Madowo on the Trend.
She now hosts K24’s Alfajiri show.
