New Little Mix album coming out soon

Get excited, Little Mix fans. The band have nearly finished recording their new album. The girls have been hard at work on the follow-up to 2016’s Glory Days and now Jade Thirlwall has revealed they’ve not got long left in the studio. Posting a snap on Instagram, Jade wrote: ‘Two more recording days left.’ Post-production can take months, but this is still exciting news for fans who’ve been waiting two years for the new songs. Although the band hasn’t released much in the way of official details, they’ve been dropping hints about the album all over the place. Jade, in particular, has teased themes which might feature on their as-yet-untitled fifth studio release.

In one recent Insta selfie, she wrote: ‘opening the key to my imagination #LM5(sic)’. Her update comes a few months after Leigh-Anne confirmed the album would be released this year, followed by a tour. Speaking in March, she said: ‘So we’ve got the new album coming out this year which is really exciting. ‘We start writing it… basically, March, when we get back to work. Then the tour will follow the following year. Basically, we’ve got our lives planned out for the next two years, but it’s great.’

She added: ‘[It’s] more of the same in the sense that we love inspiring people with our music. That’s what we do. Definitely more girl power. Definitely more of that sort of inspirational message that we love to do.’ Recently, a Little Mix fan reportedly had to get medical treatment after one of their Summer Hits performances at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea.

According to reports, Sam Webb was allegedly hit in the face with orange powder after a pyrotechnics display accidentally fired into the crowd. His mum, who was also at the gig, claimed: ‘He was taken to a triage area of the stadium where they spent an hour irrigating his eye. One paramedic held his eye open. ‘It was quite a scary experience. He is only nine and he was very brave throughout it.’

Perrie Edwards and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are seriously loved up – and we are so here for it. And the Little Mix star has taken the opportunity to reveal just how much she fancies the Liverpool player, just in case we didn’t already know it. In a post on her Instagram story, the 25-year-old shared a snap of the footballer for her 8.1million followers. She captioned the post: ‘I fancy this man lots’. Awww!

The Shout Out To My Ex singer was recently forced to defend their relationship to her very loyal fans, when the 24-year-old didn’t instantly wish her a happy birthday on social media. Yes, seriously. Fans flocked to Twitter to question whether Palex (or Alerrie) were still a thing, and why the England ace was being so quiet. But they quickly calmed down as he took the hint and posted a photo of the pair sharing a cute kiss for his own 3million followers. ‘Happy birthday to the one and only,’ he wrote alongside the upload. ‘25 today! Love you shweetheart.’

Little Mix have embraced their insecurities and have confessed they love their bods. Yaaas ladies! It’s hard to believe that four such gorgeous women can have hang ups, but they do – they’re just like the rest of us. But now, as they hit their mid twenties, they have each learned to love the bits about themselves they once hated, and in doing so are a huge inspiration to their fans. Some of their insecurities were so bad they even considered surgery, but thankfully they held off and now they couldn’t be happier. ‘I used to really want a boob job because I use to really hate my boobs because I’ve got like a double A,’ Jade told Glamour UK. ‘But now I’m like f**k it, I love my boobs. I’m rocking it now and it’s really weird because if you asked me that six years ago, I would have been sad, but ask us now and I’m like “come and get me!”
