Gospel musician Willy Paul lost his cool on Instagram and decided to have a go at one of his critic, telling him he is struggling because he has a black heart.
It all started, when Will Pozee posted a picture, bragging of how his latest hit ‘Njiwa’ had garnered more than two million views on Youtube in a period of three weeks. But a daring follower could have none of it and mentioned how American rapper Tekashi69 racked up 42 million views in three days and was not bothering anyone with unnecessary announcements. “If you ever get to that point, then the rest of us will have to move away from Kenya,” the musician’s follower mocked him.
The hater who goes by the name lil_hepto, went ham on the artist telling him that there are people with 49,000,000 views but do not celebrate adding that if he reached that kind of views, Kenyans would have to leave the country.
But this did not go down well with Pozee who retaliated vehemently with some not so nice words.
“@lil_hepto you sound as stupid and jealous kama ur empty head!! I’m not supposed to celebrate?? It’s people like you that bring down others… don’t be jelous of a niggas success. God has given me so much..do you know why you ur still stuggling?? Because you have a black heart!! If ur not careful you’ll loose it soon.. ooops”, he posted.
Willy Paul has come under a lot of criticism in recent times with most netizens accusing him of singing music that is very far from what can be categorized as gospel songs. His latest hit Njiwa, in which he collaborated with Tanzanian songbird Nandy, sounds more like a love song than gospel.
The comment has elicited different reactions from Kenyans on twitter with most of them choosing to criticize Poze. One fan had the guts to say that Nyashinski has more gospel songs than Willy Paul while others chose to defend him saying that he is trying to make a living with his music in this tough economic times.
Some went even further and reminded us of the fact that Jamaican dancehall sensation Alaine recently got saved after being introduced to the lord by Willy Paul. Check out some of the reactions below.

People should start realizing that listening to Willy Paul is optional. Criticizing him will not make your ends meet. Stop it & keep enjoying his music.
