Jalang’o emotional message to Jeff Koinange as he officially leaves Hot 96

After days of speculations its now clear that media personality and Radio Comedian Felix Oduor commonly known as Mzee Jalang’o has quit Hot 96.

Jalang’o joined Royal Media Services in May after quitting radio Maisha on 31st April. He is on the move again and will be reunited by Alex Mwakideu who quit Radio Maisha in July and their next stop will be Milele FM.

Jalang’o penned down this emotional message on his exit.:

“My brother…My Mentor…My Friend and my partner…I haven’t even called you to say bye because I don’t know what to tell..I guess my voice will shake all through and maybe I’d want to lie and maybe tell you I’ll be back..It’s your time to shine on! Hold the fort! You’ve always done it so it shouldn’t be be different!

Here is what Mwakideu said after dumping Radio Maisha

Kilicho na mwanzo HAKIKOSI mwisho.

It’s been 8 AWESOME YEARS and I will miss Radio Maisha.

I will always remember kuanzia the first day when we OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED this station during my Show…

It’s been a good ride!!!

Let me say a HUGE AHSANTE to the entire team of Radio Maisha and The Standard Media Group…

All the presenters I’ve worked with Kuanzia kwa Esther Ingolo, Mshamba, Jalas, Nick Odhiambo and now Captain Otos…. You guys are simply the Best!!!

Since Mwakideu’s exit from Maisha  they have been posting photos together. The Mwakideu has since been replaced by Billy Miya and Mbaruk Mwalimu who served at Pilipili FM and Milele FM.

Here is what Mbaruk and Miya said after taking over.

His colleague Billy Miya was also excited to be joining Radio Maisha “Tulisembeze pamoja ndani ya Radio Maisha 102.7 mpaka kieleweke. Inyonywee mpaka ilegeee.”
