Serie A club eyeing West Ham midfielder

Atalanta have made an approach to sign West Ham midfielder Pedro Obiang according to a report from Italian media outlet Bergamo Corriere Della Sera. Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini has already been extremely active during this summer’s transfer window, bringing in a plethora of highly talented players, but the Chilean will undoubtedly have to balance the books.

The Italian club have allegedly made an initial loan offer of €1 million (£890,000), with a €9 million (£8 million) option to buy the midfielder at any time. And the chance to recoup close to £9 million might be too good to turn down for the Hammers board.
