Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri has said that forward, Eden Hazard is one of the top three players in Europe. Sarri, who signed a three-year deal with the West London club after Antonio Conte was sacked last week, disclosed that Hazard was a high level player.
The 59-year-old, however, said that it would be difficult for him to improve the Belgium international. “I was not talking about having fun in a press conference, but on the pitch and during the week and want to win matches,” Sarri told a press conference on Wednesday.
“Hazard is a high level player and I think he is one of the top two or three European players. I would like to have fun during the week with him, this would mean good results and being competitive at the end of the season. I hope I will manage to improve Hazard, this is very difficult as he is at a high level. With Mertens it is different. Dries had been an external striker, everybody thought by necessity he became a high level player. Two top players, I hope I will improve Hazard too, but this will be very difficult.”
