Sportswear giant Puma are in the final year of their multi-million pound deal with the Gunners and the pressure was on them to deliver in the hope of extending their deal with the Premier League side. Arsenal have revealed their third kit for the new season and it has not gone down well with fans.
The home kit has struggled to capture the imagination of fans, but the new away offering has been well received. Fans wanted a return to the traditional yellow away strip instead the club will be wearing a turquoise shirt for the first time in the Premier League.
Leaked images of the new kit show that it will be predominantly turquoise with dark blue stripes running around the sleeves.
The shirt will also feature a traditional collar as apposed to the design of the collar on the club’s new home and away kits.
