Alisson Set for Liverpool Medical Tomorrow

The ‘Reds’ have had an offer of €70 million accepted according to reports from the ‘BBC’.

Alisson was reported to be on the radar of Chelsea and Real Madrid as well, but it seems as though he will now be making a move to Merseyside next season.

The shot stopper is currently on holiday after representing his country Brazil at the World Cup in Russia over the summer, but is thought ot have spoken to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and is keen to make a move to the Premier League club.

Klopp is looking to strengthen in goal after Loris Karius’s terrible mistakes in the Champions League final in May that gifted Real Madrid their third consecutive win in the competition.

Liverpool already hold the world record for the most paid for a defender, after they brought Virigil Van Dyk to the club from Southampton in January for £75 million.

Given that the amount has been accepted, it means that the transfer surpasses the current world record £40 million fee for a goalkeeper that Premier League rivals paid for Ederson last season.
