They were in the race to sign him last summer but the deal fell through as the clubs fell well apart in their valuation of the Croatian. Perisic just had a stellar World Cup where he was one of the stars who toiled to take the dark horses all the way through to the final. Signing Ivan Perisic will benefit Manchester United due to various reasons.
1 Brozovic (Inter Milan)
Now this might not be a very popular opinion. United fans would much rather have Sergej Milinkovic Savic in their team. However, what they fail to see is that Savic and Pogba are players who are of the same build. And with Fred also in the ranks, it would be a waste of money to sign Savic.
Meanwhile, what United should be looking at is a replacement for Nemanja Matic who will turn 30 before the start of the new season. Brozovic shone for Croatian playing behind Ivan Rakitic and Luka Modric. It would be a similar role that he plays at United if he would join with Pogba and Fred operating in front of him.
