Arsenal legend Thierry Henry quits job

Thierry Henry has confirmed the news on social media. The former Arsenal and France centre-forward has decided to walk away from his job as a pundit on Sky Sports. According to report, Henry was being paid four million pounds a year to work on Sky. However Henry now has other objectives on his mind. He wants to stop talking in the studio to start working on the touchline. The Arsenal icon is the latest former Premier League star who is intent on entering the world of football management.

The Frenchman wrote the following:

“Over the last four years I have had some extremely rewarding coaching experiences in football. These experiences have only made me more determined to fulfil my long-term ambition to become a football manager. It is with sadness, therefore, that I have decided that I must leave Sky Sports to enable me to spend more time on the pitch and concentrate on my journey to achieving that goal.”
