Spain legend Iker Casillas and Barcelona forward Luis Suarez have expressed their disapproval on VAR, especially on Sunday World Cup final.
France was given a contentious penalty when the Argentine referee judged that Ivan Perisic handled the ball in his area as he tried to clear a corner kick.
”Honestly, I do not understand the use of VAR very well. The referee points out a foul that is not on Griezmann. Goal to France in that action. Nothing happens.” Casillas said on his Twitter account.
”You are right Iker, and apart from that Pogba’s offside and “participates” in the play,” Suarez replied to Casillas on Twitter.
