Liverpool fans have got very excited as Nabil Fekir has left Russia with his French squad.
France beat Croatia 4-2 in the final on Sunday to lift their second World Cup final trophy.
Of course, throughout the summer Fekir has been linked with a possible move from Lyon to Liverpool.As Fekir was walking through the airport to board the plane home, the Lyon playmaker was showered with cries of “Liverpool”.
Fekir could have ignored the Liverpool calls, kept his head down, and got on with his day.
However the Lyon star reportedly “smiled” as he visibly turned his head as the fans shouted “Liverpool”.
So does this mean Fekir has confirmed he’s Anfield bound? No, of course not. Nevertheless, it’s easy to understand why Liverpool fans are sharing this video in their numbers.
