Jose Mourinho will answer questions on Cristiano Ronaldo this week.The Manchester United boss opted not to get involved in the race for Ronaldo, leaving Juventus clear to snap him up for £88m.The Portuguese super star has undergone a medical today and will be unveiled as a Juve player this evening.But the Manchester Evening News report that Mourinho will be quizzed on Ronaldo’s transfer when he speaks to the press in LA this week.
Ronaldo was believed to favour a move back to Manchester United when considering his Real Madrid future and even claimed he wanted to return the UK in open last summer when embroiled in the tax case.But he has landed in Turin to complete his move and the MEN claim Mourinho will be asked why United didn’t put themselves in the equation.
Mourinho is due to speak to the media at the UCLA complex this week with United arriving for pre-season.
