Andre Gomes will reportedly strike a blow to Arsenal’s hopes of luring him to London – by signing for bitter rivals Tottenham.
The Barcelona midfielder is set to exit the Nou Camp this summer after failing to hold down a place in the first team since his move from Valencia two years ago.
And according to Barcelona-based newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Gomes is keen on a move to north London.
Juventus have also been interested but may be reluctant to spend more money having splashed out £100million on Crisitiano Ronaldo.
Gomes, 24, is expected to cost around £18m and is reportedly keen to work with Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
