Everton are on the verge of signing AC Milan midfielder Andrea Bertolacci.
Bertolacci, 27, spent last season on loan at fellow Serie A side Genoa and impressed, helping them finish comfortably in mid table.
However, upon his return to parent club Milan, Bertolacci has reportedly held talks with boss Gennaro Gattuso and his time at the San Siro appears to be up.
Everton are looking to pounce and, according to TuttoMercato, the Toffees are ready to splash out £5m to bring the midfielder to Goodison Park.
Bertolacci will be offered a five-year deal and could earn a further £1.5m in bonuses should the deal be completed.
