Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has confirmed that Juventus will be the Portugal captain’s last club before he retires from playing.Ronaldo, 33, penned a four-year contract worth £500,000 per week with the Serie A giants earlier this week when he called time on his nine-season spell at Real Madrid. ‘I’m very happy for Cristiano,’ Mendes told reporters. ‘Juventus will be his last club and I’m glad he made this decision. With this team he’ll close out his marvellous career. Mendes, who made £10.6million from Ronaldo’s £100m transfer to Italy, added: ‘I thank (Juventus president) Andrea Agnelli in particular for his determination and his willingness to negotiate with Real Madrid. Ronaldo’s new team and his former side face each other at Maryland’s FedExField in the International Champions Cup on August 4.
