Russia lauded

Football governing body FIFA has lauded the high level of security in Moscow during the 2018 Russia FIFA World Cup.

Gulyaev had earlier on stated that more than three million tourists had visited the Russian capital during the soccer World Cup.

“Traditionally,  Moscow pays the most serious attention to security. FIFA’s assessment of security is more than excellent,” , Moscow City Sports and Tourism Department Head Nikolai Gulyaev said. “On the whole, [FIFA] liked very much the city’s surveillance system.”

Russia is staging its first-ever FIFA World Cup, which kicked off in Moscow with a remarkable opening show at Luzhniki Stadium on the evening of June 14.
