France rail’s cheeky dig at Thierry Henry after Belgium defeat

France’s national rail service (SNCF) have trolled Thierry Henry after Les Bleus’ victory over Belgium in the World Cup semifinals.

Despite having won a World Cup with France during his exalted playing career, Henry was stationed in the Belgium camp in Saint Petersburg in his role as assistant to coach Roberto Martinez.

The sight of Henry in the opposing dugout caused a bit of a stir in France leading up to the game and SNCF were quick to rub it in afterwards.

“Thierry, if you want to come back to France tomorrow, several trains are leaving Brussels Midi station,” the rail company quipped shortly after Didier Deschamps’ side had booked their place in the final.
