France legend predicts England World Cup win

Manchester United icon Eric Cantona has used a bizarre maths formula to calculate that England will win the World Cup. Eric Daniel Pierre Cantona is a French actor and former international footballer for the French national team.  French legend Cantona has posted the video to social media and it has been viewed over 140,000 times in just 22 hours.

In the video, Cantona can be seen stood in front of a chalkboard with a mathematical calculation scrawled across it. He says: ‘Here is a little algebra demonstration – 1966, the year England won the World Cup. ‘One squared, multiplied by nine squared, times six squared, times six squared, equals this… (104, 976). ‘Divide it by 52, the number of years since they won, and you get this = (20,187,692). Check it out and you’ll see.’

The United legend adds: ‘So 2018 – seven is July; six plus nine equals 15th; and two. So 2018, July 15th is the second World Cup. Come on England!’ July 15 is the date of the World Cup final. Cantona posted the video with the caption: ‘Why England will win the World Cup!’ Neitzens were impressed with the calculations, with ‘antokinyua’ commenting: ‘This guy is nuts but I love it!’

And ‘elena_masetto’ added: ‘You are a genius!’ The former Manchester United and Leeds striker recently revealed he is backing the Three Lions with a video showing him singing ‘It’s Coming Home’.
