Brown Ideye set to leave China

Nigerian striker Brown Ideye is reportedly weighing up a loan move to Turkey as he remains sidelined at Chinese Super League club Tianjin Teda. Ideye joined Tianjin from Greek side Olympiakos in February 2017 but has struggled to win playing time in the CSL. He has made just 14 appearances (with four goals and one assist) in the Chinese top flight since his transfer 18 months ago.
In January this year he was loaned out to Spanish side Malaga as Tianjin made space in their roster for Ghanaian striker Frank Acheampong. The Nigerian is likely to be loaned out again unless a club comes in with a big enough offer to sign Ideye permanently.
