Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina set for £6million move

Unai Emery is ready to accept a relatively modest fee despite the keeper having two years left on his contract. Arsenal and Colombia goalkeeper David Ospina is set for his second English exit of the summer with a move to Boca Juniors, according to reports. Gareth Southgate’s side knocked Colombia out of the World Cup – despite their most questionable efforts – and the Gunners now look ready to ship him out to Argentina.
Unai Emery is ready to accept just £6million for the goalie, despite him having two years left on his contract. Arsenal have made four summer signings already with German keeper Bernd Leno part of the squad overhaul. And the hot prospect might be the ideal man to compete with Petr Cech for the Emirate No1 shirt.

After losing to England in a quarter-final penalty shoot-out, Ospina’s agent insisted he had enjoyed a brilliant Russia tournament and revealed he was unhappy at Arsenal. Lucas Jaramillo said: “David has had an excellent World Cup, it has been very important for him, it is not a lie for anyone to say that he finds himself uncomfortable in Arsenal.
“There are several clubs interested in David, but leaving Arsenal is not easy because they’re team that pays well and asks a lot for the player, and we must add that he has a contract for two more years.
“We had already considered the Boca option but it is not easy right now economically for a club like Boca to pay that much for a goalkeeper.
